Dear Justice,

Justice is how I don't hate them.

Justice is how I love myself instead.

Justice is how I see their brokenness as part of themselves, not a piece of me.

Justice is how I carry no misplaced shame.

How I know the names of whom that shame belongs.

Justice is in how I have the power to

Hold Abusers Accountable From Wherever I AM.

Justice is how I am powerful in truth, conviction, resilience, and determination.

Justice is in how I am my mother's child;

surrounded by her unconditional love, support, and teachings.

Justice is in my healing and the light

I give to myself and share with others.

Justice is in the family I have given birth to;

There are so many beating hearts I love.

Justice is in how I said goodbye to all those who were not

In the ways I deserved.

Justice is in how I knew I deserved more.

Justice is in the relationships I have made from love, which I deserve.

Justice is how I burned my trauma down and rose from the ashes.

Justice is how I'm healthier because of my healing.

Justice is my mindset, and in the way I speak.

Justice is how I learned detachment.

People's behaviors are reflections of themselves.

Justice is how I take what I learn and transform lessons into empowerment for myself and for others.

Justice is in all that I do with love.

Justice is my knowledge of collective healing.

Justice is in my relationship with the creator and spirit.

Justice is in how I Honor Myself.

I used to be disappointed that humanity couldn't be human enough to give me justice. That was before spirit showed me through their love, that justice lives within our relationship to ourselves; to our healing, to our transformations, to our connections to each other, and how we treat all that is living. I have justice by the way creator and spirit call to me.

I wake up every day being Justice.
