Welcome
If you're here, we think you were meant to be here. And we're glad you are.
"It actually doesn't take much to be considered a difficult woman. That's why there are so many of us."
-Jane Goodhall
Our Story
Get to Know Us
Hi. My name is Wiša WahoÅ›i Trudell. My mother, Maire Athena and I created Wildly Unstable Women, LLC. Since 2021, I have been battling in court with one of my abusers, who has DARVO'd me as a harasser. During this ordeal, which is ongoing, I have been called "unstable," "crazy," and more. Sound familiar? What woman can say she's never been smacked with one of these labels? But no matter how hard it gets or how uncomfortable, I will keep fighting. Join me.
I believe my purpose is to help other women speak out. We are strong, and together we are stronger. Wildly Unstable Women is a resource for us to come together, a place to get the resources we need to fight, to meet other women who are going through what we are going through, and to gain strength in solidarity.

Thank you for being here.
It's a PANDEMIC
"Violence against women and girls may be the world's longest, deadliest pandemic. One in three women worldwide has directly experienced violence. Every 11 minutes, a woman is killed by a partner or family member, often in the place where she should be safest - her own home.

We cannot accept a world in which one-half of humanity is at risk in the streets, in their homes, or online. We must end violence against women and girls now.
It starts with changing the hearts and minds of men and boys. Men created this scourge. Men must end it. This means all men looking in the mirror and pledging to uproot the lopsided power dynamics, toxic masculinity, and cultural norms and stereotypes that have fuelled this violence over millennia."
- António Guterres, UN Secretary- General
You SHOULD be angry
1
We are being murdered
In 2005 alone, 1,181 women were murdered by an intimate partner. That's 3 WOMEN EVERY DAY. Things have not gotten any better in the following years.
4
TARGETS: The young and vulnerable
Young women and low-income women as well as minorities are disproportionately victims of domestic violence and rape.
Low-income women experience up to SIX TIMES the amount of nonfatal violence as compared to higher income women.
2
4.8 MILLION
According to the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control, women experience about 4.8 MILLION intimate parter-related physical assaults and rapes every year.
Less than 20% of these women sought medical treatment afterward. . . not because they didn't need it.
5
1 in 5
The Justice Department estimates that one in five women will experience rape or attempted rape during their college years. Less than 5% of these rapes or attempts will be reported.
3
600 Women DAILY
In 2006 over 232,000 women in the USA were raped or sexually assaulted. That's 600 WOMEN DAILY.
What makes this worse: many women don't report their assault. Why? Fear, discrimination, and feeling that nothing will be done anyway.

We pay in $$, too
The Center for Disease Control estimates that the cost of domestic violence in 2003 was more than $8.3 BILLION. This cost included medical care, mental health services, and lost productivity.
